Figures, that's the trail to Rockwood past The Scott Road, right? That trail was always rough as a cob toward the Rockwood end.

I believe so. Sure looks like a Pisten Bully...I can't imagine dragging that new groomer out of there...plus there is a lot of rigging underwater behind it..probably 20' to 30' worth of drag back there..

Notice that they got a log across the blade chained to another placed upright in the ice to keep the machine from completely going under....

Man that sux. I was always grateful for the folks who would sit in a groomer for hours and hours so we could go have fun. A lot of the clubs were running the ag tractors with the auxiliary rubber track conversions.

we have an AC 250 with IRS, no pics sorry.

And the real enjoyment getting the little guys out there. Got their first machine for their 4th birthday and have been at it ever since.

My cousin had a Wildcat, those are one heck of a machine. He bought it when he was living in Wyoming and brought it with him when he moved back but it was too big for the type of riding out here. He sold it and bought the Trail version? Shorter and narrower, definitely less powerful but easier to woods ride.

We currently just a have a 2 seat Polaris RZR and a 2014 Polaris Scrambler 850.

Have always had a Sportsman or three too. Sold off my 2011 Polaris Sportsman 550 and looking to get a 2017 Sportsman 1000 when the dealer gets another in.

Also looking at the 4 seat RZR Turbo 1000 for this summer as we now have a 3 kids. (7 months, 2 years, and 10 year)

We got the toyhauler specifically for the 4 seater last summer.
Will be upgrading my enclosed trailer to be a longer one with extra height soon too.

Expensive hobby....but we actually live pretty cheap. Still in our first house and got less than 10 years left of a mortgage. :)

I've got a 2012 Polaris rzr 800 s and ride it all the time even drive into town to shop at wallyworld mostly used for hunting I hunt deep woods a very swampy area so it's snorkeled with gorilla silverback tires

Yamaha Viking 3 seater.........normal stuff like winch and plow.....been snowing way too much here to use it though. Put a set of tires and rims on it for a little more ground clearance. Clutch kit is next and maybe some better sound proofing.

I see I'm not the only one posting pictures sideways. :')>

One major consideration before purchasing if you are planning on any trail riding in Maine is width, trail system is geared for 60" max. I have scrubbed tires several times on bridges and have to be extremely careful not to get the roll bar hung on a gate end when using ATV bypass openings.

That's the problem here too, and why I'm reluctant to make the change from an ATV to a SXS. My cousin's Trail Cat (smaller version of TFucilli Wildcat posted above) is the max a side by side can aggressively trail ride around here. And it's much slower going for the most part.

Just depends on what you do.

Here's my stepfather with his Pioneer (similar as the OP) during archery in Wyoming in October.
