I got the TST and I'll get the Smarty when it's ready for the 06s.

Don't know how long my self-control will hold so I'm researching transmission options.

I'm very lucky to have an excellent tech at the dealer where I bought my truck. He has a bombed 2nd generation and he recommends that all I should do is get a torque converter and a valve body.

I'd like a trans strong enough to handle long smoky burnouts , occasional drag strip duty, hauling 8K lb. trailer and a TST/Smarty stack.

You will need a full billet transmission, low stall TC, flexplate, and a lot of other things to use that stack to its fullest. You may get by with less, but the temptation to turn up the box and load the next program up is very, very strong. You may not have the will power to resist if you are at the track. First time a powerjoke beats you, you may loose site of reality and go TST 9/9 and SW 9. Then your new tc and valve body will not make it to the end of the 1/4. But maybe thats just me without discipline.
