pyro has alway acted funky in the wifes '06 ...

was in a parking lot last week and figured it out ...

the wire i tied into would drop voltage the more you pressed the brake down

above 300 degrees it didn't matter but once it cooled down below that it will drop to 100 when you press the brake ... .

only me

what wire is correct?

thanks guys

I used a wire that was in an unused connector. The connector and it's harness were taped or attached somehow to the harness that went to the dimmer sw/ headlight connector. I don't know what the other connector was supposed to power, I guess it was an option I do not have, but I found one that was hot with the key on and used a 1/8 male spade connector and pluged it in the hot KO female spade. The thread Navydood posted seemed to suggest that most people used the cigarette lighter but it seemed too hard to get to for me. There was a bunch of wires going up that way and i did not want to hunt and peck for the correct one or take the other section of dash off to see which one was correct. And I had already cut the dimmer wire to power the lights so I was not wanting to cut anymore wires if I did not need to. You can take the knee panel and the metal piece behind it (the one the OBD2 snaps into) off and look up near the headlight switch you should find an unused connector and harness. But I don't know what it went to so I fused it with a 1 or 2 amp fuse.
