speaking of cheap "junk" guns. I bought a russian pistol for 129 bucks a while back. I just cycled my 2000th round through it a couple of weeks ago (i bought 2 1000 round cases for it and practiced) It's a small gun, about the size of my hand, perhaps a tad smaller. 8 shot 9x18 Makarov caliber. The safety is crap, the gun was so caked with cosmoline when i bought it I had to soak it to get it clean, and the stuff still came out when i fired it for the first time.



I've become quite proficient with it, i can hit bottle can's at about 30-50 yards with confidence. I have a CCW permit, and normally don't carry one, but when i do I choose this firearm because it is small and lightweight and i'm a damn good shot with it. It is DA,SA gun, with rusted steel fixed sights. Certainly nothing compared to my sig sauer or H&K, yet i choose it to carry because of its size. It can fit in my jeans pocket, or inside my jacket comfotably.



This is just an example of my use of a saturday night special (that i bought of the internet through a surplus military supplier) that the liberals think are just ruining America. Well it's sure ruined a lot of targets and beer cans for me, but i don't know about everything the leftists claim.



So why would that be fair to take away from me? I pleasure shoot with it, and at times, protect myself with it. Why gives anyone, or any entity the right to say, "Your gun didn't cost enough, we've got to confiscate that!"



The argument is kind of fruitless, they can do what they want, they'll never live to see the gun if they come to get it.

Does it have the Finger Print Identification on it, you know so that no one else but Stalin can fire it.



Works good, put you thumb on the guns finger print scanner, wait while the wireless connection dials up the BATF, checks to make sure you are the legal registered owner, then it will disconnect the safety.

A crime is a crime, whether it is commited with a knife, baseball bat, broken bottle axe handle or your pointed hand in your pocket. And in case you havent noticed we already have laws tro enforce them. I dont have the time in the day to rehash the 2nd ammendment meaning. but ill give you a couple meaningful quotes and and things to think about.



On the matter of we already have a milita... . certainly our Founding Fathers didn’t really mean “people” (despite having written “people”); they were talking about the militia! The militia can carry as many guns as they please, but the people? Ordinary Americans? How could they be trusted?

First, I would arrest Bush for his deception and private agenda in Iraq.



Second, I would make a formal apology to all of the nations we have meddled with in the last fifty years. And a warning to all the world that we will retaliate in a nuclear fashion if attacked again!



Third, pull out of Iraq, after UN takes it over.



Fourth, bring back last administrations budget, strengthen borders and infrastructure.



Fifth, pull troops out of all foreign country's. Flat rate tax system! Legalize drugs and tax the crap out of them.

Flat rate tax system! It will never happen though! Too many money grubbin politicians! Unless of course the rate is 99%.

Well, at risk of disappointing my loyal friends, here's my spiel:



1. Flat tax or sales/consumption tax. The graduated scale punishes achievement and is based an class warfare and jealousy.



2. Term limits. Congress gets two terms like the Pres. No ifs, ands or buts. Now, these guys get elected over and over again, vote themselves very wealthy pensions (for life!), and spend taxpayer dollars idolizing themselves in their home states (Robery "KKK" Byrd comes to mind)



3) Seal the borders. We can't expect anyone to respect the law if we don't by enforcing it. immigration is OK, just do it the right way.



4) Abolish the Departments of Education, Veteran's Affairs, etc. We could probably cut the gov't in half and still have more than enough bureacracy.



5) Get rid of gov't programs that pay people to do nothing.



There's a lot more to add, but I will stop there...
