Question about using paint to resize pics for posts and rigs

Question about wisdom teeth

Hey guys, I have a question for you. Say you purchased something from a TDR member on the TDR classifieds and when you go to install your new purchase it doesn't fit? The item was listed that it would fit on a second gen dodge and it doesn't even come close to fitting. I am now out $1000++ and would like to get my money back. I have phoned and e-mailed and this TDR memeber will not respond! What would you do in my situation?

That sucks, maybe ask the moderator to try and contact the person, where they denote people who are members when selling something maybe they can help out.

People do strange things, I gave a member something last year and only asked they pay for shipping, which they agreed, they never paid me even after I PM'd them checking to make sure they recieved the item, it was only a couple bucks but it was more the principal than the money, in your case it is both.

Nothing yet. I am going to see if I can push him a little bit this week. If I can't get anywhere with him I guess I will take it to court. The best part is he is a distributor for a well known company that is on the TDR all the time so I can really drag him through the mud if he doesn't want to play nice!

Wow, that seems to be happening more and more lately. I'm sorry to hear about all this. I'm sure you'll get it squared away... ... one way or another!

Let's procede carefully here please. We are close uppon the guideline below:

2. 11 Post any information regarding a lawsuit or litigation (past, pending, or future). Any such post will be immediately removed from the TDR Discussion Forums without notice.

Please take Dan's suggestion and contact TDRAdmin (Robin Patton) either by PM or e-Mail at rpatton@ix.netcom.com That is the preferred and correct way to go. They have the contacts and experience to handle the situation.

Thank You

ACoyle, I have no intentions of posting his name on the TDR. I have read the rules and will respect them. I am hoping to settle things without legal action as that is just not my style but, if need be I will take that step.

Input

It is unfortunate, but even TDR members can be unscrupulous from time to time. Always check folks out before making sizeable purchases.

While the TDR cannot insure each transaction goes smoothly, we can facilitate communication. If you will PM me with a brief overview of what has happened and who is involved, I can suspend their account and contact them requesting their side of the situation. Sometimes (but not always) this helps get the log jam moving.
