What would you do...

... to try and coax more fuel mileage out of a 1/2 ton, 4X4, auto, gas poowered V-8 Dodge? Are there some common sense fixes (other than dropping a 4BT in there)? Is it all a matter of air and fuel in and exhaust out? Do they make computer chips for them? Is there a site like this one for gas powered Dodges?
