Hi,

I have an Edge Insight CTS. My truck is stock and will stay that way.

The Edge lets me set 'alarm points' for each PID, at which the device will beep to get my attention.

Can some of our more experienced or technical readers recommend what values I should set for the most important parameters?

Put differently, when you are monitoring a key parameter (and which ones do you watch closest), what's the value that will make you sit up and pay attention? This might not (should not) be the permitted maximum. It will be a bit lower than that, to give time to respond.

I know the unit comes pre-loaded with Edge's recommended set points, but I'm keen to get other opinions.

Thanks in advance.

Matt

PS: I've emailed Cummins with the same question. If their response is useful I'll post it here.
