Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What year was the last 53 used?

I am sure this has been covered but I missed it. What year was the last year that the 53 motor used? I am going to look at a 2002 to buy this Thuresday. I have a friend that had one that cracked and I dont wont to go thru that. I had a 99 that had the 53 that I swapped off after my friends broke. I do a lot of pulling so I dont wont that to worry about.
