Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) what year's will the ez fit??

i have a 2000 diesel with the auto. i was just wondering what other year's this will fit. it has the 3 prong flat plug for the diagostic plug and i think 3 pins i think in a triangle type shape for the boost sensor. just wondering if it will fit a 98. 5,99, 01,02. thanks for the help.

I maybe off on this one, but I believe yours will fit 98. 5-2000. The 01 defintely has a different map plug, if yours is 3 in a flying triangle. The 02 is different than the 01 as well I believe. A quick call to Edge will confirm or deny.

I believe it will work on the 98. 5 to 2000, should have came with a adapter for the diagostic plug that you might need. Someone jump in here and correct me if i am wrong!

i didn't get an adapter for the diagonstic plug. i think the 99 use the 2 prong plug up at the front by the injection pump?

2000 is in it's own world for plugs.



98-99 used the triangle map plugs, and the triangle shaped data plug up by the injection pump



2000 used the triangle map plugs, and flat data plug near the ECM.



2001+ used the flat map plugs, and flat data plug near the ECM.



Your EZ should be for the 98-99 and 2000 with a flat data adapter attached to it for use on a 2000. That's the only way I've seen them boxed.

If not, you can always order the adapter from Edge to plug into the triangular 98-99 harness.

If you have an EZ on a 2000, the adapter plug is already on there. You would just have to take it off for the EZ to fit 98. 5-99.

jerret , the map is the same 98. 5 to 200 , to use it on a 98. 5 and 99 unplug the gray triangle connector to 3 flat and the gray triangle conn plugs into the earlier turcks ...
