I'm a Firefighter/Paramedic for a small town (20,000 people) south of Boston. Been at it for two and a half years now. I sideline as a carpenter.

I used to be an executive at a high tech company, but got tired of the bs. I am now a dirt surgeon. I get paid to play in the dirt with my skiploader or bobcat. I smile every day. When I have time, I help my wife on the ranch (which makes her smile).

I work at the Cummins Tech Center. Very cool place to work. . ! I must say that I love the Compression ignition engine! Oh, we also do a lot of testing with alternative fuels and spark ignition, which is also very cool!

Greetings,

I'm a Systems Engineer for a major healthcare company. I take care of the DNS/WINS infrastructure, and the NT based server monitoring.

Anyone ever been to a Tri-Star, Lifepoint, or HCA hospital?

Diverse group of people indeed!

Take care guys,

Andy

I'm a boiler operator at a fatty acids chemical plant in Painesville, Ohio. I hold a Third Class Steam Engineers License.

I got this job by accident just because I had the license. And I got the license "just for fun" 18 years ago because I like to run old steam engines.

My college major was Petroleum Engineering, which I never got to use. But it always comes in handy.

I also have a small sign company on the side - see Little Mountain Ironworks - and do some metal fabrication, web site design, and desktop publishing. Always been entreprenurial and looking for a way to make a buck.

Quality Technician for Carlisle Power Transmission.

If you've got a Polaris, Arctic Cat, John Deere, Case IH, New Holland etc... Chances are you have one of our belts on it. We do pretty much all of the belts for the heavy equipment industry and snowmobile industry. We also sell our own line of belts under the Dayco brand name. As well as under several distributor names.

I spend the rest of my time hunting, shooting, fishing, messing with and riding my mules, and drag racing.

Finially!!!

After 22 months of being "between jobs" I finially got a job as a Regional Account Manager covering most of Nebraska and the SW corner of Iowa. I'll be selling industrial and mobile hydraulics and pneumatics. I'll have to quickly gain product knowledge. And the truck is happy to be back on the road. (Put a little over 400 miles on today going to and from their office to accept the job. )
