What's a clutch install cost?

Just curious as to a ballpark figure for replacing the clutch on a 98. 5 2500 4x4.

I know the actual cost of the clutch will vary depending on which brand and model you select.

Also, does anyone know of a good place in the NW (WA or OR) that does this?

$550. 00 for Auto Wurks Diesel to put my McLeod in. Maybe not the cheapest, but it is smooth and with no chatter, except a very small amount at idle. Well worth the money to have it installed correctly IMHO. Don't go with the lowest shop price, pick the one that has the experience to do the job right.

Mine was $460. 00 but they had to remove the CB, CB speaker and auxilary switch box. Was initally quoted $420 including surfacing flywheel and pilot bearing.

My 2001 ETH is being done today for $360 + Flywheel resurface. This includes letting me watch and help the entire process.

This will be the first time I have let some one else do any major work on my truck.

I know a guy out here who charges about 300 including the flywheel resurfacing.
