My solenoid parts supplier asked me today if I knew anyone interested in brand new starters. Well, I said "I don't know, depends on the price. Give em to me for free and I can sell loads. " He didn't see the humor in that. :(

Anyway, How much is averyone paying?? Seems I remember reading prices close to $400. I told him I needed to be able to sell them for under $275. Does this sound about right? Or is that still too much?

He's close and stocks them so I won't even need to carry any inventory.

Just another hair-brained idea!

Any input apreciated.

Larry,

I recently bought a starter for my 97. List price was $350. Approx. $315 for a perferred customer. $290 for a fleet discount. And finally $262. 50 and $41. 50 core charge = $304. 00 for a customer with a Auto Dealers License.
