Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) what's a nv4500 worth

I'm going to convert my truck to an auto and i need to know what my five speed is worth? it's got 145000 on it.

Not to blow Smoke but a 4500 is about worth the core credit I have thrown 2 to the recycle yard got 18 bucks apiece for scrap. I would say if it had the fifth gear nut mod done probably 400 bucks maybe more if someone needs it. just my opinion Kevin

I sold mine with a rebuild kit in it (synchros and what not) For $1000 in the TDR classifieds

With that many miles most will want to rebuild first. I just paid $ 1395 for a rebuilt and the core charge was extra at $ 750 returnable. Plus frt. RC

95% of those miles are highway unloaded, very good shifting transmission and the original clutch.
