How much Elephant **** can a 3500 carry?

Got my new gooseneck equipment trailer!!

I think you will find most people suggest DDIIs. Any more than that and you'll have EGT and smoke control problems.

I tow with DDIIs and like it, but I have to tune down the Comp box to keep it civilized. I tow between 5k-10k feet altitude though.

DDIIs

See my sig for the schtuff, but I highly recommend DDIIs. If you dont have a fueling box, at least get some sort of boost module to allow enough boost to compensate for the added fuel the injectors provide.

My truck carries a medium sized cabover camper (relatively light, but a real wind catcher), and pull a very large bumper-pull horse trailer. GCVW is 22,000 pounds. The DDIIs allow me to run as fast as I want and pull most hills without shifting out of 5th (o. d. ).

I keep my fueling box turned off whenever towing. It's just not needed. When the camper's off the truck, and no trailer, it's time to turn up the box and play!

Okie, "resistance is futile", why fight it? Just buy the DD2's and let ME test drive it :D

How did the pumpkin cover install go? Did you silicone it too?

I haven't got it yet. They said ground shipping was 5-7 days. Shipped last Tuesday, as of Thursday PM. I haven't seen it. I thought it would be here by now. I called and scheduled delivery is Friday.

Diesel Dynamics stage two...

. . extrude honed and balanced set of injectors. Add about 75 HP and double that in torque. I only bought I's and now am wishing I had gone for II's. But I can live with my less than optimum choice.
