*** What's going on with the search and why is the site slow? ***

I had to start the search rebuild from scratch tonight so as of 20 minutes ago the search engine was completely empty. It will take approximately 1 week for the search engine to finish regenerating. As of 8/11 1:43 am eastern time the search index rebuild is on post #553,000 out of ~900,000. As the search goes on it will slow down - just thought I'd give you an update on where it's at.
