Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Whats it worth?????

I have found a 96 2500 w 12v and automatic trans. The trans has been rebuilt and has a shift kit. there is front end damage on the truck and may have some bent parts on the axle. i believe the truck has about 200K and has been sitting.



How much do you think it is worth????

It's worth whatever you pay for it!



Here's what you do:

Take a good look at the truck and figure out what it costs to get it costs to get everything fixed and the truck back to "good" condition. Go to kbb.com and figure out what "good" is on that truck and deduct the cost of what it takes to fix everything. That's just my opinion.

You mentioned bent parts on the axle-im assuming it is a 4x4. I paid $7600 for my 97 2500 4x4 reg cab with 168k on the clock. How long has it been sitting? I have had some trouble with cheap vehicles i have bought that have "been sitting", wiring troubles mainly. So, just check it out good, and good luck.
