I have a 91 std cab 5 speed with 114k miles, 4x4-The high blue book on it is $9500... I dont see any for sale in the paper, so Im thinking maybe its worth more than that... I just bought a 2001. 5, and Ill be selling the 91... Any ideas what its worth???

What condition is the rest of the truck in? Is it completely stock? Aftermarket mods?

Are you in a hurry to sell it? About 10k is what I noticed when shopping for some 1st Gens a while back.

I would list it for 12 or 13k if your not in a hurry to sell and then wait a while see if you get any bites. List it on the "net" as well as in the paper. Pictures are worth a thousand words. If ya can't find anyone to buy it then you can lower the price for someone whos interested and they will think they are getting a heckuva deal.

I think that location has a lot to do with it. Some urban types wouldn't like the ride. It depends on how much the buyer knows about these trucks as to their worth. It is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I bought mine 2 1/2 years ago with 65,000 miles for $11K. As Kat Diesel said, it also depends on if you are in a hurry.

Im in the San Francisco bay area... Lotsa ranches south of me in Gilroy... Itsa basic 91 4x4 a/c cassettelow-end interior-rubber mats, cloth... Racor 500 fuel/water filter,Banks exhaustdiamondplate tool box and bedliner... I have the 2001. 5, so Im not in a real hurry... Illcheck autotrader, too... Thx for the info...

Location has a lot to do with it. Since I knew my truck from new, I saw what Larry had to go through dealing with people in NYC. He had it advertised for so long that it gave me a chance to total my old '81, and save up for his. If the market around here was good for REAL TRUCKS, I wouldn't have had a chance at it.
