Hi,

I am looking at selling my 2000 Ram 2500 4x4 to upgrade to a gen 3 or 4 and want to get some opinions on what I should ask for it. Below is the description of my truck.

2000 2500 4x4 quad cab short box diesel. 318,000 miles, but most of the accessories have about 150,000 miles. I drive the truck back and forth from South Dakota to Georgia for our business. Has never had a 5th wheel plate or gooseneck installed. Has a class V hitch for towing. The most I've towed with it is an 18' Forest River Work and Play trailer.
Line-x bed liner, Line-X bushwhacker fender flares, and bottom of truck Line-x'd, color matched aluminum topper w/tool boxes, Diesel Dynamics Stage 2 injectors, DDTT/Edge EZ, AFE Stage 1 intake, Airdog 100, ATS stage 4 trans w/triple lock billet torque converter, hardened input shaft and clutch basket, 4" MBRP exhaust, Fluidampr, Mag-tec trans and rear diff. covers, 3:54 gears, Mr. Bobs hoses, Westach gauges (EGT, boost, fuel pressure, transmission), T-Rex baja racing suspension w/T6 billet shock towers, HD front coils and custom rear springs, Bilstein 5100 shocks, Warn 12,000lb winch w/synthetic rope. Straight steer brace, 3rd gen steering conversion, dual Red Top Optimas, Brite Box, Sony stereo (amp, speakers), 700 watt power inverter. Factory rims with Michelin LTX M/S2 285's. VP44 replaced at 275,000 miles, new rear end and posi at 265,000, new front end at 305,000.

All fluids used are synthetic. Hand calculated mileage is from 18-19 and when towing from 12-13. Runs super strong and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. No accidents and everything works as it should.

I was hunting for a similar truck for quite a while. I just recently purchased a 2001 with a 6spd. It had 270k miles and I would say it wasn't quite as nice of shape as yours. I paid $12k. I would think yours would be a similar price tag in our area. Automatics seem to sell for less and sit longer from what I have seen around here.
