Hello all,

I'm selling my '97 2500 Reg. Cab 4x4 12-valve in order to get a 4-door p/u. The truck is loaded with every option, minus leather, limited-slip and camper package. It is in very good overall mechanical and cosmetic condition, has just over 92,000 original miles and lots of new parts (steering box, rear brakes, trackbar, fuel lines, etc. ). What do you think its worth?

Thanks

Ryan

Noisy, loud, smoky old 12 valves!! Probably not much :D ..... Ummmm how about some more pics,( underhood, interior, etc. ) What happened to the '04?

it worth about 9,300 to 10,000 more toward the 9,500 range depending on condition and where the buyer is from that buys it like by me its hard to find used diesel in good shape unless you buy almost new that come off lease.

Dbogo, if it's not worth anything, why would you want it? into collecting junk?

rmcnamee, nice lookin' truck! Looks stock too, right? I think, when I was looking a year ago, such a truck would go for around 9-12k. Have you tried searching for like vehicles with autotrader to see what others are asking and maybe getting?

Don't listen to the 12v smokey, loud, worthless stuff, they are just jealous... :p

arthr31... I figured that's about what it's worth and yeah, I checked into the autotrader, etc. for current prices. Some of the dealers want 12K for a truck in good condition with over 100K miles.

Loud, smokey, etc... . ? I thought that was one of the things that most hardcore Cummins guys/gals loved so much about the 5. 9s. I don't get it, the 24-valves are louder than the 12-valves

Brother just sold his EXACTLY like yours, his had approx 140K miles. He held out for $9500. I thought that was great money to get out of it. It was one of those things, you just say, here are the receipts and it is what it is, no guarantees or warranties or anything. Kid bought it and loves it. Good luck

San Diego '97 12-valve

On Craigslist here in San Diego, there's a '97 reg. cab 5-speed 4wd,208K for $8500. 00. Just for comparison. No idea what condition it's in,picture only!
