It is easy to borrow money from a Bank, all you have to do is prove you don't need it. They must think a Diesel engine lasts the same as a gasser. Now the real reason. They are trying to force you to buy new. Two reasons, There is a larger amount of money involved and they make more money and help the dealer, where their business comes from. It is like the Health Insurance companies and the RX Drug companies being in bed together. Whatever can be worked over on the public will be one way or the other.

List it on ebay with no reserve. It will sell.

I'd list it on ebay & watch your wording..... make sure that you make your truck sound like it is better than others. Set the reserve low... . around $26k & watch it sell. I've sold things on ebay that I was gonna trash..... turns out that they were gold to someone else.

I saw an 04 Stupid Duty in the paper today. They wanted $32,000 for it. Single rear, 4x4, leather.

I was thinking... do the new ones even cost that??

Heck, I was offered $30k for my beater last week from the man I hauled some containers to. Offer stands till end of the month, now if I could find a new C&C all done up for around that... up to say 35 I just may do it! How much are they getting for a loaded C&C around different parts of the country, will travel to save a few $$$$$.

My truck is the same, minus the mods, and I'm only two hours away... .

Want to let me know who this guy was? :-laf

Overstocked

Well, I think a large part of the problem for these trucks lately for thier values is simply overproduction. Dodge continued building too many, even though sales were slumping last summer and fall with high fuel prices. As the '07's came in, dealers were way overstocked. DC was slow to react, and then had to pour on major incentives to blow out '06's, causing used values to drop as the new units were sold at way under sticker. Just my . 02 Bruce
