I have a wrecked 2005 single cab. I had it since it had 14K miles and it has about 80,000. I kept it up well, oil analysis, oil changes, etc. I wrecked the driver side and the driver side wheel broke off and it ruined the hood and drivers door. I always thought it would be too expensive to fix, like $10,000 so I had hoped to put the engine and transmission into a 1994 Dodge Ram diesel I have. But that never worked out and it would be better for me to sell it. It's got a Smarty, a stock turbo over a s400, billet imput, good flex plate, shift kit, Goerand converter. It's got a 5" exhaust system. The truck doesn't have any parts missing and no other dents other than the damage in the left front.
Could I get a few opinions about a price range I should be able to get? Aside from the classified here and Craigslist do you have any other suggestions? I could part it out, and don't want the give away the turbo w/ the engine, and throw the Smarty in, etc.
Any opinion would be welcome, thanks!

Thanks for your reply, but my truck is a single cab w/o 4X4 and it only cost $24,500 in 2007 so I don't know what a wrecked one is worth. I'm starting to think about $7000 w/ everything. I will continue to look around and see what is out there.
Thanks again and have a happy new year!

My take on vehicle worth is not "blue book", but what it would cost to replace it. My daily beater '88 S15 GMC is worth very little on paper, but it would cost 5 times that to replace it. So, what is the value of my LRT (little red truck)? If you like your truck, fix it and keep it. You know its limitations and strengths. If you buy a used one, then you have to learn all its quirks. What you are describing is replaceable "sheet metal" type stuff and the "core" is intact?
