See Sig plus i'm getting a DTT TC, VB, Billet Input, 2nd gear stuff, 3rd gear stuff,.....

I'm going to have to wait for the GDP and the SPS Turbo..... given that, but adding the transmission work, can i run the smarty on level 7 or 9 without running out of fuel? If so, what's the highest level the stock pump will support? My egt's are perfect right now on level 3..... what are they on level 5, 7, 9 with stock turbo? Max i see right now is around 1200*... . w/o using the bf version of smarty... .

Obviously the auto trans is the weak link with any power adder, so i think it's the logical first choice... . jsut wandering how bad the stock lift pump and turbo are going to constrain me???

I would suggest just trying it to see. You're likely gonna run out of fuel since the higher settings w/ increased timing are going to call for more fuel. With the call for more fuel your EGT's will climb. At WOT you can easily see 1500 and up ! Just stay out of the throttle and you can keep that in check.

You're good with the turbo for a while. It can handle quite a bit. Running those higher settings on the Smarty, you'll be seeing up to 42psi. The stock is said to handle 50psi.

So, it would really help you to upgrade you lift pump. The turbo can wait for a while. By not upgrading the pump, you'll be starving the CP3 which in turn will give you very low rail pressure which will in turn cause problems with injectors down the road. You're looking at a lot of cash if you have problems with either of those things.

I understand to you probably just dished out a load for a transmission but, the lift pump upgrade is pretty cheap compared to that. Do it ASAP.

To give you an idea of what works on stock.....

I dynoed my truck with a stock transmission and turbo running the Smarty on "moderate # 7" and a TST on 2/1-12-standard and my numbers where... .

441hp / 885tq

on the Smarty alone on mod. #7... 428hp / 792 tq

It handled the Smarty but, with the TST added the TQ started to slip.

Remember these numbers are on stock components. I only have a upgraded fuel pump and a ATS intake. The lift pump made the difference. I run mod #7 all the time. I have a ton of power but, do have to be careful of the transmission.
