What’s that plug

On my 2017 2500 crewcab 4x4 can somebody tell me what the empty electrical plug is under the drivers side rear seat ?

If there is one on each side with a grey connector it is the courtesy lights.

I've got the same thing on my 2013. I often wondered if they were there for the sub woofer that would go in the lid of the storage boxes?
