Just looking around at some of the brands of air intakes and wondering if anyone has any suggestions for best quality and performance.

Scotty Air 3, True Ram Air. Dual layer foam filter, proven in the dustiest conditions possible and easy to maintain.

I am kind of biased about it too. :D

Personally I use the AFE, and really have had great luck. On a customers truck (04. 5) we ran the new B&D intake, with our Heavy hauler chip, and no Cat..... overhead console says 30mpg on the hwy, and gobs of power, plus it costs less than the AFE.

I'm in the minority but I really like my Airaid filter. I like the large oval that fills the airbox over the smaller cone style.

We also have a very nice intake. We use a Green filter and never have any problems. It is worth about 15hp on a dyno.

They are also the most economical intakes you can buy and they are built out of steel and come powdercoated!

I have a 2004 Dually and I put the AEM brute force intake and if you want turbo noise, you will not be disappointed with this intake. I'm stationed on Cherry Point Air Station, NC and everyone knows my truck because they say it sounds like a C-130... It's a massive 4 inch stainless steel tube witha huge 5 inch round and around a foot long filter. It's got a nice heat shield too. I hope that helps you.
