My cousin is doing some hauling and needs an e-brake soon. He would like to order tomorrow if possible. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Thanks for the link Bill. My first thought was BD before I even researched it so now it's between the BD and Pac I think. If it were me and I had the money I would go BD for sure. Anyway thinks again for the link.

The BD will retard more with stock valve springs than other brands as far as I know. At least that was true when I got mine 2 years ago. Its a very good product.

I might mention that BD Dyno Days is this Saturday. In the past they have had the BD Exhaust Brake for $600. 00 USA. I think Piers will match their price. That is an installed price!:D

Exhaust Brake

I've used the US Gear D-Celerator for 3 or 4 years, now, pulling 6000 lb TT in the Rocky Mountains. Works great. No need to change exhaust valve springs. Simple to install ($25 at the muffler shop to cut and weld up the flanges to the exhaust pipe) Also, I like the idea of the butterfly being a long ways down the pipe from the turbo exit... those with the butterfly in the turndown elbow have got to increase backpressure when open.

Added bonus: Makes "servicing the cat" a breeze, if you so desire.
