Here's the question. What's the best way to drag with the in-cab power selector like the Attitude or Outlook or even dial up device. Here's what's happening. If I leave my Juice dialed up to 4 or 5 then I just sit and fry tires. A little boost,. . say 5 to 7 lbs and it's even worse. Basically they go and you don't. Do you think taking off on 2 or 3 and then as soon as you out of the hole start bringing the power up? It probably would be a quicker ET. Thoughts? :D

Yeah... what they said. I would launch in 4X4 HI at just a couple pounds of boost to help get you going. No more boost than that until your transmission has been prepped for it or your chances of breaking the input are pretty good.

Alrightyyyyyy then,...

We have a consensus,. . use 4X4. Next question,. . then do you take it out of 4-by once your out of the hole? I'm starting to feel real blonde if someone says YES as there is getting to be a bunch of stuff to do here besides watching the look on the guys face that I'm hopefully going bye. And nobody answered my question about the turning the power up as your motoring? Or was that just to dumb a question (smile). Thoughts. :D :D

My holeshot solution

I solved the problem by tubbing the rear end and using drag radials. This may be too radical for some... .

i had same problem with the volumizer so what i did was leave it on middle setting for launch and then as soon as tires hook i would swith to high. worked for me. .

Sorry OUT-OF-HERE I didn't know you where 4x4 and I was just gigging you :D ... . You can take it out of 4WD during the run, but it will stay in until you relax the drive line (let off the gas) so it really won't matter. Pop it in 4x4 run the heck out of it and switch back to 2wd when you can get a hand free...
