Ive went from 15mpg to 12mpg city driving, no change in power still makes the same amount of boost, starts fine, runs fine and idles fine. I changed the fuel filter less the 5k ago I by fuel at the same place every time. Any thoughts with fuel prices as high as they are thats a big hit in the wallet.

Smokin, any increase in smoke or EGTs? (maybe timing slipped a tad?). Does it start the same in the morning? Did the weather turn cooler suddenly? (that shouldn't affect it too much). If they switched to #1 maybe that did it, but when I burned a couple tanks of #1 recently coming through Wyoming and Colorado I didn't see much change in mileage.

I generally get 16ish in town with my '96.

I dont think the timing has slipped no problem starting and I dont think they have changed to winter blend its not been that cold here yet even with the change of fuel last year I didnt drop that much in mileage. Thanks keep up the ideas

Check your fuel pressure. I recently went though the same problem and low FP was the culprit. I haven't run too many tanks though yet but it seems to be better so far.

I think Ive found the problem, my thermostat has been acting funny and it started about the same time I noticed the drop in fuel mileage. I will change it and flush the system and see if that helps. Thanks
