The biggest exterior difference is the bottom rear corner. Quad cab doors have a sharp corner, and club cab doors have a rounded corner.

they might be more available becuase I think they are also the same for regular cab '94 thru '02 as well as club cab '96 thru'97. Quads were unique to '98 thru '02 fronts only.

If the outer panel is rusted out and the inside of door is OK you mite check to see what a body shop can do. They should be able to change out the outer metal panel.

The outer skin will probably last as long as the originals. Just make sure the inside and bottom are OK. When they replaced my outer skin on my right side of bed they ordered it from Dodge(someone hit me in back and side of bed).

$500 a door isn't bad if they are going to paint it too. But shop around you mite find a better price. (Insurance gave a estimate of 2200 for my side. )

QC doors are longer and won't fit

The clubcab doors will work on quadcabs but not vice versa.

The doors do interchange except for the noticeable back lower corner... . been there done that for a customer with NO money. I rebuild these trucks as a living and have hung many clubcab doors on quad cab trucks to keep water and whatever out until the new doors come.

i was on vacation in the south and stopped at a yard and found a q-cab door. nice rust free complete with p. w. , p. w. switches, p. l. , power heated mirror, window, door panel. for only $300 Oo. Oo. had i had more room i would have bought a couple of them and brought them back to ohio for others that cant find them.
