im shure it has ben covered before butt what is the difference from #0 plate

and just no plate

A #0 plate gives full fueling all across governer arm travel. No plate is a bad thing, the arm can go too far and break stuff in the pump. I forget what, but any internal damage to the pump is a really bad thing.



easiest way is to take out your existing plate, slowly grind it 1/8" down past the beginning notch, and bam you got a #0 plate. Theres some images here of a #0 plate. .
