The diesel stop is a great site. Its not a pay site so you wind up with some wanderers but the advice is generally solid.

WRONG... . The advice is filter and BIASED. Ask anyone who has been booted off the site and you'll know the truth. I'd avoid that site if your looking for accurate info. After you go read half the posts in the 6. 0-no forum you'll understand. Pay real close attention to anyone saying ANYTHING negative or that they have a problem...

hey, i am a member over on the ford-diesel forums [i still don't like the dieselstop name - approprate though :-laf] and i have been a member there longer than here i think. it is fun to see what the other guys have up their sleves, and if i remember right, the fastest ford SD there is cummins 12v powered [maddog i think]

check out the power stroke registry (?). It is a pay site like the TDR

If no one checks out other trucks/forums or whatever and do not know what is going on, esp if they are looking for a truck, then how can you trust one persons opinion from another.



Saying that, you have to be able to decide for yourself who to believe. But I think it will be pretty easy to do once you do browse and find out what is being said and HOW it is said!



Visiting that site as well as some others is just like listening to a bunch of 12 year olds. Very annoying, very biased, and because either they own one or their dad owns one it is the greatest thing on earth. and nobody elses opinion counts for anything. I have seen people harrassed because they have had questions about things that didn't agree with the sites views. The sites views, meaning that we are the best and thats IT!



A lot of them have very closed minds, and are open to no kinds of discussion except "tell me how great MY truck/4wheeler/car is. "

LOL I've been a member there longer than here. . . . because TDR didn't exist when I joined Ford-Diesel.com in July 1999 (now Diesel-Stop). I just hit 200 posts there the other day so obviously I don't spend as much time over there as I do here



Of course before I joined Ford-Diesel I was a member of CDW. Those were the good ol' days. Most of you young bumpkins probably haven't ever heard of CDW

I believe that Ford builds a nice looking rig, but, even though I could get one a lot cheaper than the Dodge that I got, I did'nt because I believe that they need more time to work the bugs out of the 6. 0.
