Whats the hottest thermostat you can use.

I'm going to go with Evans coolant so it shouldn't be an issue. I'm going to contact the guy there that is using it in his. Anybody here using it and if so what degree thermostat are you using?

Don't knwo anything aobut Evan's coolant but on the thermostat, just go to Cummins and get the one for your truck. Original works best. Don't try to cut a few corners by buying one at the parts store ... You will end up buying another at some point in time. Save yourself the trouble.



I never said this with a gasser but on our trucks, buy OEM.

Cummins thermostat, run a search plenty of part numbers for OEM t-stats, plus the 'updated' stat which supposively stops temp guage fluctuation. Boy those are some big words I'm using. .
