My truck went in on Monday for a new injector pump, now its got a new injector pump and 6 new injectors and it still has a miss at idle they then checked the valves and the compression. which were both fine. Now they are going to try another injector pump. Anybody have any ideas?

Ouch. I hope this is on their dime.

What kind of truck? Year, SO/HO, Auto, Manual, gauges, mods... ?

Any other symptoms, or just at idle?

99 with 5 speed EGT and boost gauges, had hi flow injectors from Scheid and a power edge box. Getting rid of the box and going to injectors only. Truck has 192,000 miles on it. I'm sure as heck not paying for the labor of putting on two pumps, Its not my fault if they messed up on rebuilding the first one. The truck went in for an injector pump only now I'm gonna have a whole new fuel system.

My truck is Missing as well... but only sometimes. It also seems to have have air in the lines somewhere... . after it sits a little it cranks way more than usual before it starts. If i run the LP a couple of times it starts right on up. I'm thinking it could be the return valve... but not sure. anybody have any ideas? also my truck misses sometimes going down the road. A cummins rep told me it could be the MAP sensor... . could this be a problem? no engine light tho... .

ALSO: just replaced the LP and injection pump! Damp LP took my INJ to the cleaners!!!! FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE IS A MUST!!!!!

Just a few weeks ago the same thing showed up and was reported as a crack in the fuel filter housing where it couldn't be seen without removing it. Try a search on "missing" and "idle". Bound to be hours worth of reading there for you.
