After the latest torrential downpour, I discovered free water in my overhead trip computer. I could not find the proper level on the capacities table. I'm assuming it's over full?

I can see the job order now..... "Could not replicate symptoms"

Sorta looking forward to that reply after " Parts on order"

2 months now and DC has no (like discontinued supplier) ETA on national backordered carpeting.

Little things to whine about... ..... :p

I think it says in the owners manual that frequent washings will help preserve the life of your ram. You should be covered under warranty then.

WATER LEVEL

Man, I hope I haven't ruined mine by running it dry   I've never even checked the level in mine, but it was that way when I picked it up from the dealer. DRY

Do you have the cab clearance lights? Mine dosen't. Hope you can get it fixed quickly.

Sooo, did it just short out or is it still working while you get your daily shower??:D :D I would be interested to know if you have the clearance lights though. I thought about putting them on mine. Might have to reconsider. :)

Had the same problem but mine must have been too full because my hand got wet when I shifted gears. Took it to DC and the took a garden hose after it and found that it was the center cab light. The seal on the light had a small slit in it. They replaaced the trip computer, the head liner and all the cab lights and seals. :) This is the only thing that the dealer has ever done right sinse I bought the truck:(

I think that the proper water level is dependent on outside temperature and compass direction. Here's the formuala from Fritz's web site (always check there first before asking stupid questions).

Water level = (OAT * 9/5 + 32 + Mag HDG * 360 / Trip Miles) + ET. Note: you must be in metric mode for this formula to work correctly.

Thanks Klenger

I will go to Fritz's site BEFORE the TDR. All of my questions are stupid. :D

Yes, cab clearence lights. . looks like I will investigate further myself. I can see the DC fix already... gasket $15- install drainage hose leading down through the floorpan $5. You know which one I will get.

No damage, just 2. 5 displays, one bright, one not so bright, and one reflection.

LOL

Frequent washings?!? You have to read the fine print... You have to use bottled water for your warranty to stay intact!
