That would depend on how high you are willing to lift the trailer... . :)

I'm reading between the lines but I think you are stating that he can't tow a trailer with the receiver hitch if he lifts the truck 4"-6" and runs 35" tires.



Is anybody on TDR towing with a lifted truck???
 
I'm running a Skyjacker 4. 5" lift and tow up to 7700 lbs. with a standard drop hitch (8"-12" depending on the trailer). With an adjustable height hitch and/or an adjustable tongue on the trailer you could probably make up for 4"- 6" inches of lift... I am considering changing the front of my utility trailer to an adjustable channel type, but haven't done much research yet.
