What's the transmission Temp Range?

Newbie installed new transmission temp guage from Geno's on my '03 2500. Gauge is unmarked. Need to find out the normal termperature operating range and 'do not exceed' temp. Also, at what temp does the warning light come on the panel?

On a regular day mine runs 140-160 , if you get over 220 your cookin' the fluid I would change it. This seems to happen in reverse up a hill with 10k trailer . You will hear different reports so you be the judge.
