what's the weight ?

What is the approximate weight of a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has the V-8 ( NOT the 5. 9 ) and AC. 4x4 of course. Doesn't need to be exact, just an approximation.

I had a '98 5. 2L. I think it was about 4300. They redesigned them in 99, but I don't think the weight changed a whole lot. A 2000 V8 would have been the 4. 7L I think.

I was wondering because I'm gonna be taking a long trip in a couple weeks and I wanted to tow something on the trip. The truck hasn't been towing as much lately, so it needs a workout.



Also for anyone who trailers vehicles a lot, is there anything speacial I should know about securing the vehicle ?? Or any other tips !!
