What's this about a Tach for a 93 W250?

I had a 92 W250, bought new. Son's truck now... ..... anyway... . I bought a Mopar tach at the local dealer for $90. It is a snap to install. The plug is behind the dash to the left of the column. I mounted it according to the directions. On the dash just right of the left pillar with a slight turn towards the driver. It has been on now for 136k miles and works fine. Lighted and dims with the other dash lights.
It has to Mopar or it isn't "the right thing".
Now to fix that broken door hinge... ... .

I remember at the time that I was told the lead for that tach is also on the late model 91's also.

Found one factory tach for the 93,#82400711 from local dealer, would not work on my 91 due to needing complete wiring harness. Latest price at dealer $157. 32. Real happy to note I found some kits #82201051 to fit my 91 W350, will be installing soon.

Sorry, last one and it came out of a dealer back east, I bought it thinking I would be able to use it in the 91, but I needed the older kit with wiring harness and sender unit. I sold it and it is now in Driversmopar's truck in Placerville, I was up this weekend getting a spare getrag trans that he took out and replaced with a new venture 4500.

drivers mopars here, yes tach is in, took 1. 5
hours , pulled instr not needed to, broke wire off map light , now i need to get one of those, gauge is great, but does not say
mopar, still great, i say run what u like.
on the pw's be sure there r in tight, i had one puffing air was loose,
Anyone got a map light ??????????
ialso caused fuse in radio to go bad, from tring to fix map light. what can go wrong will. only do tach if other gauges r in.
and there not much left to do.

open exaust, pw Injectors are in. Big rig flaps,tach soon to be in. Its loud and goes ok, for a 93,only beat 1 pwr strk furd. 2 optimas,
love driving it!
