What's up with the 1500 on the latest TDR?

As the title reads, why is there a 1500 on the cover of the latest TDR? The 5-lug wheels are a dead give-away. Wasn't a Hemi on the cover of an issue about a year ago? What next, a Dakota? A Ford? A Chevy?



Are they really that much in need of photos???

I think it would be cool if they used pictures of members trucks.

i noticed it also, as soon as i looked at it, i was goin to put a post up bout it but it looks like u already got it i agree i think we should use members trucks!

I think that the truck on the cover is one that has a Cummins transplant (12 v), I cant for the life of me remember who did the work though, maybe it was David Dunbar. I also think I read somewhere that it got 25+ mpg on the highway, and was pretty quick at the track, not sure on this though. correct me if I am wrong

I was going to post the same thread as well, I had to take a triple take as it didn't make sense with the six lug, same pic as in the '06 brochure by the way. Maybe someone is getting anxious about the high performance Cummins' going into the less than 8500gvw vehicles?

That's kinda funny, they just "paintbrushed" out the HEMI and RAM 1500 as it is pictured in the brochure and probably on the corp. website. I think the next issue should have a pic of the 6. 7 on the front. Can I get a second on that? Haha.

There's enough competition trucks around (ME ME ME) that would LOVE to be on a cover just for some coverage (no cost). People would like to see them too. It is suprising they don't put some of them/us on the cover instead of scrounging for pics.

Does it bug anyone else how there are more and more members with "other" brands? I thought this was a DODGE/CUMMINS club. If I were king for a day, I'd make it a requirement that to be a member, your rig has to be either a Dodge with a Cummins or at least have a Cummins heart.

I personally don't have an issue with members owning other brands except if their brand is mentioned in a lowly manner and they get bent out of shape.
