What's up with the PPG extended paint warranty?

Has anyone received their notification of extended warranty from PPG regarding the paint on their trucks? There was a thread a few months back and it looked like a sure thing, but I haven't heard anything since then. Last I heard it was going to be a 100,000 mile warranty. Anyone with new updates please post them.

I think it may depend on your color, as well as when the truck was painted.

wish they had a warranty on the paint on my '97. Stiill don't have a 100,000 miles yet but there are spots the size of a pencil eraser popping off all over.

You better call and find out what happened. I got mine in October. I think. Graphite with silver lower in case you were wondering. Friend at work never got one and his is patriot blue !

Do a search on paint problems, there is 13 pages, on page #2 is where this problem starts being dicussed and if you are effected, how to go about getting it taken care of.
