wifes '03 has been spoiled since day one ...



very little light towing ... mostly highway miles ...



despite the creampuff treatment it lost a rear u-joint at 50k, the rearmost one at the diff ...



and today it is getting TWO new axle joints at 60k ...



my '91 made it to 175k before it lost an axle joint,

my '01 is all original at 500 ish hp



anyone else? :rolleyes:

the local dodge shop is run by a couple of highschool buddies of mine ...



they have treated me GREAT on all things warranty ...



when i picked the truck up the told me that they had never had to replace a u-joint twice because they inspected and lubed all the caps on the replacement joints before they installed them
 
A MEMO came down from D. C. over a year ago to all D. C. techs that on replacement joints to pull cups and add LUBE. Whomever supplied joints to D. C. was shy on the lube part.
