Hey fellas! How's the weather in the rest of the world? I didn't check the thermometer today, but it felt like we were somewhere around the 80 degree mark-can't beat that with a stick!

That's a bit above normal for this time of year. Don't feel bad though; if it's this warm in Feb. , what does that tell ya about our summertime temps. ?

I talked to a guy a few days ago that owns a '92 Cummins, auto. transmission, with about 300k miles. Last time we spoke I was driving a Powerstoke. Everything he said about his Cummins was good. He asked what year mine was, I told him, and he obviously knew it was a 24V. He didn't have anything good to say about that. He's not a "mine is better than yours" kind of person, but his opinion of the 24V was obvious. He then said I would have done better with an auto. transmission-lots of problems with Dodge manual transmission. Keep in mind that this fella tows lots of heavy equipment. It was suprising that he praised the auto. so much. I'm the type of person to stand my ground as long as I have some knowledge (personal experience) to back me up. No ground to stand on in this case. I was left speechless. I'd appreciate some TDR member opinions. Is there a drawback with the 24V? Why did they change? Give it to me straight-don't need anyone to blow sunshine up my a$$.

Thanks in advance.
