Pretty much any beer with "more than average" flavor. Pete's Wicked Ale, Guinness (Genious beer as I like to call it), Sam Adams (drinking one right now as a matter of fact :)), Shiner Bock, Harper, Michelob.

I'll drink water before most beer. Miller, Bud, Bush, that nasty $2 a six pack my dad drinks, and those that are stacked like mountains at the store all taste like wee wee to me too. If it's not fresh brewed in a cold mug or a good (which also means expensive) beer, I'd rather just have ice water or tea.

Wine is the same. The cheap stuff gives me a headache right away. I drink nothing from a can. Other'n that I'm about as redneck as you kin get!

Hey Scollins... Too bad you weren't at the Summer Brewfest up in Kirkland on Father's Day... 12 bucks, and you get to sample (12oz at a time) 6 microbrews of your choice. All the usual NW favorites were there.

The Bridgeport IPA was EXCELLENT. I was puffin' on a stogey and drinkin beer all day! Isn't America great? :D

My all time favorite is a balck & tan made with Guinness and Mississippi Mud... Ohhhh yaaaa!!! :D

Actaully, pretty much any dark beer is good, most of that light beer is crap.

One beer to avoid: anything that comes from the Pyramid brewery. Yuk!!! #ad

Wondering?

Have you ever wondered why there isn't any anti-alcohol movement, like the anti-smoking movement. Heres the reason.

If people got the real facts,(like booze has killed more people than tobbaco). Maybe there would be. Of course most don't care. Wouldn't want to upset there dream of the social drinker(never seen one)having a drink after work. Buncha drunks. . I should know. I just don't practice anymore.

Gotta stick my nose in on this one. There's so many good beers it's hard to pick my favorite, but has anyone else tried Alaskan Amber? I laughed when I first heard of it, now if I get a trip to the NorthWest I'll go out of my way to bring home a case or two.

In a mexican resturaunt I'll go for dos-exis over Corona any day.

How in the world???

How in the world do yall get Shiner up in MD??? I was in Michigan 2 weeks ago, and asked for one and I got a funny look so I ordered an import called "La Blue" as the locals called it, and it was kinda close, but not in the same league.

As for my favorite, I think I gotta go with good old...
Lone Star Light!!!
It's cheap, made localally, and so easy to drink.

Champane Flight,

You make a good point but the facts are the emediate affects. Drag pipes on a Harley haven't killed anyone but, they annoy the hell out of those who don't enjoy the music. Same with tobacco. I love the smell of a freshly lit Camel. But the smell of a Cool Menthol makes my eyes burn and my throat close up. I don't have a bit of problem with people smoking. Long as I don't have to smell it while I'm eating. So we usually eat at home. On the other hand. Someone can be drinking a smelly beer at the next table and I wouldn't even know it if I didn't see it. If I do, I might even have to have me one! Specially if we're at Hop's!

It's time to break out the Funnel at next years May Madness and Doc, you're invited to try it first:D

I was at Myrtle Beach one year and some guy had a 5-story tall funnel with a 1in. Apollo Ball Valve on the end of it. I paid the guy on the ground my 2 bucks and opened the valve! I don't know how much beer I consumed but the gravity was so great that before I could shut the valve off, I had beer spewing out of both corners of my mouth and ears. 30 minutes afterward I had to be escorted back to the Hotel.

I am talking about drinking related deaths. Many get swept under the table by medical, law enforcment, and family..... I usually know where the drinks are by the sound of the drunks. Mucho more annoying than the smell of a cigar, and more dangerous in my opinion. Try arguing with a drunk sometime

No I don't drink anymore, thank you lord. However those who think its harmless are too wrong. And those who think that alcohol is not a drug, think again!:p

Without a doubt GENESSEE!!

By the way, the Budweiser folks own 50% of the company that makes Corona. Does that make it Mexican Bud??

Last night was a good night for Coronas, too good I might add.

Had to get off the computer and go to bed when I couldn't read the screen any more!!

I'm paying for it this morning!

The president’s of Anheuser Busch, Miller, and Coors all met in a café for lunch. The waitress came to take orders for drinks. The president for Miller said, “Bring me the best drink known to man, a Miller Lite. The president of Coors said, “ I’ll have the best drink the world has ever known, an ice-cold Coors. ” The president of Anheuser Busch said, “I’ll have a coke. ” The waitress then replied “What? No Budweiser?” He promptly said “No, if the others aren’t having beer, then I won’t either. ”

I like Natural Lite Myself ... ... ..... Anheuser Busch Product
