whats your favorite tv commercial?

I like one for Geico Car insurance; the geeko is trying out for the commercial and sees the chiwawa dog, he says "great, a talking geeko"!The speel check system here sucks, I give up.

I think the Aflack commercial with Yogi Bera (sp) was one of the best ones.

super bowl a couple of years back with the mosquito feeding on the arm of a dude after he ate lots of Tabsco hot sauce and exploding. precious !!

I like the fem commercial with the roach crawling across the screen. I wonder how many people freak the first time they see that one?

I laugh every time I see the Sears commercial where the guy comes in, opens the refrigerator and takes a drink of milk directly from the carton - it's sour and he spews milk arcoss the kitchen. After he's puked his guts out, his wife calmly says, "The refrigerator's broken".

This is a old one, its my favorite by Alka-Selser, old guy sitting on the edge of the bed saying, "I can't believe I ate the whole thing" with a bummer look on his face, then she says "You ate it Ralph"

I can't stand commercials. Tried to watch a movie on TBS and had to give up, no kidding there were five minutes of commercials every seven minutes. I don't mind paying the price for commmercial free TV.

Some are entertaining...

... . like the one where the guy wakes up in the morning to find an empty milk carton. Looks out the window and spots a cow. As he's attemting to milk it. A couple walk in. The woman says"are you going to tell him that's a boy cow" . I also like the one where the guy takes his underware out of the deep freeze and quckly slides them on. "yea it's kinda like that"(soft drink commercial)... Doug

Commercials are time out to grab a beer. Trouble is, with this many breaks, I either run out of beer or fall off the chair.

Watched a great 2 parter on Hallmark Hall of Fame channel the last 2 nights... "Johnson County War"...

Last night I counted the commercials at each break... one break had at least 15 commercials ... I was doing just what the following Icon is doing..... Oo.

I don't like waiting on commercials and I really don't like banner ads (see top of this page).



There are a few commercials that I get a chuckle from.



I don't remember the Company or product, but the commercial was great. A guy is sitting in a diner, and the waitress brings his sandwich. He looks at it, and tells her he did not want mayo. She takes the top piece of bread, scrapes the mayo off with the edge of the table and places it back on his sandwich. The whole time not saying a word and chewing her gum loudly.

My favorite commercial wasn't shown in this country. It was a Levi's commercial. The entire commercial is free from dialog, but music is being played. it begins with this kid going into a pharmacy. He talks to this old male pharmacist, get's a condom, puts it in his pocket (the little good-for-nothing pocket). The next scene shows him picking up this girl for a date at her parent's house. Guess who answers the door? That's right... the pharmacist! The commercial ends with something about Mr. Strauss' watch pocket being abused for 100 years. Or something to that effect. Pretty cool marketing if you ask me.
