2001. 5 3500 6spd. 3. 55's (Dually)



17 MPG overall average



20 MPG under 60 unloaded (no winds or hills)



16 MPG hwy over 70 MPH flatland unloaded (wind or hills dont matter)



11 MPG pulling VERY heavy camper



All corrected and verified using GPS and measured miles.

Have never seen over 20. Worst was pulling heavy into headwinds listening to turbo whine all day. . 9. 5

FWIW I saw some improvement after installing the Smarty SW, although I have never used the fuel saver option SW. Mostly SW7 or SW9, currently running SW5 + TST5.



And.....



28 MPG does seem a bit out there. I can get closer to 23 MPG, but driving at 50 MPH sucks.

I average around 10 to 11 pulling 5er with #2.
