Fuel Pressure Test Gauge...Where to get one??

New twins... Blown head gasket.

I read the US Gear instructions concerning shifting into OD. I comprehend pretty well but, this baby clunks.

Case in point:

While driving with OD off, according to the instructions, I keep it in gear and level out the speed. Next, I engage the OD while keeping off clutch and after clunk depress the clutch for 2 seconds.

What's your experience out there?

I had one in my 96 CTD with the 5 speed. Mine usually clunked hard also. When I called US Gear they said it was normal and that it would not hurt anything. I was told to flip the switch to the OD while keeping the drive train under load, wait a couple of seconds and then depress the clutch to let the OD unit shift. The clutch pedal did not have to be depressed very far to let the unit shift. Once you hear the clunk the shift has been made, no need to depress the clutch after that. If I was going from 3rd over to 4th direct I would flip the OD switch as soon as I started shifting into 4th. If the RPM`s were just right it would shift without a clunk. Hope this helped.

Just as Dave says, flip the switch wait a few seconds and flash the clutch. I found it helps if you push in the clutch fast but no need to go all the way. I have about 80k on mine and it still works great.
