Wheel Help

I am on a trip to Idaho and arrived yesterday only to find two of my tires loosing air. As I suspected, the cast Mickey Thompson wheels are cracking and that is where they are leaking. I need to get new wheels tomorrow and need some quick / quality suggestions. I'm running 35x12. 50R16. 5's and am carring my 9. 5' S&S camper and towing my boat. I want OVERKILL so I do not repeat this little adventure. It appears that forged wheels are going to be my best option. Any constructive suggestions would be greatly appreciated! If overkill is what you want, do EXACTLY what I did and you will have NO problems...



Now I see you have 35" tires... do you want that diameter or would 33 be ok? There are different tires out there that are good tread and stuff but first look at this site. .

Scroll down to the Rims... . See "Ricksons Eliminators" Forged aluminum rims or the classic 10 hole if you prefer that look. The eliminatores look like the factory wheel. . (sortof)... . I have those... They are also only 34# versus 60# for steel... . I have 245/70 R 19. 5 tires that are "F" rated and 12 ply... . they make a 16 ply but hose are too stiff. .

here is a shot of the ricksons eliminators and my factory hub caps on Michelin XDE-MS 245/70R 19. 5" ... these are 33" diameter but the same tread width as the stock 265-16" tire... ... They make a 265/70R 19. 5" that is 34. 4". . the overall width is 10. 3" so the tread will be in just a bit like 10" or so... these have more of a vertical sidewall for stiffness. .

The total cost of tires which I bought locally and had a shop mount them, and the rims which were shipped from ricksons for 5 tires and rims was like $3400... $400 for rim and $265 per tire... . A 265 70R 19. 5 tire will be more expensive... .
