My wheel is worn at about the 12 o clock position, Which I assume is fairly normal. Tried a nice lace on type cover, and it sucks. Ive heard you can send yours in to be done professionaly, or even get a refurbished one with yours as a core. Anyone know of where that can be done, or have an experiance with a decent repair?

I spent a silly amount of time and energy going over this truck, and I hate to eek out of something as obvious and in your face as the wheel. Id like to do a nice job.

thanks.

Mine too , haven't done one but figured that with one of the kits available [ Geno's ] then glue a piece of filler & put in the kit .

Hey, thanks guys, as allways.
Checked on American stitches, nice folks, very very pricey. Bottom line, it would take to long (6 + weeks) and cost 250. 00 shipping. I can actualy get a new OEM wheel for 165. 00 after beating up my local dealer. No wait and I keep my core, which will wind up on E bay.
Thanks again for the good tips everyone.

If replacing the wheel, please be careful because of the airbag.

Could be expensive and dangerous if it deploys!
