I'm thinking of buying stock used wheels for my 95. I like the looks of the 99-02 era wheels and wasn't sure if they would fit my truck? I'm not sure when they went from the 16 inck to the 17 inch . Would the 17's fit on my 95?? Thanks, Brian
The 3rd Gen 17's will fit fine. No mods. Even use your old lug nuts.
The aluminum 2nd Gen wheels will require turning your rear drums to remove some material from the OUTSIDE to clear the wheels. Here's a pic of mine with the 3rd Gen wheels.
The aluminum second gen wheels came out in 2000, the same year Dodge did the suspension & brake revisions and made the axles a bit wider. The 17" wheels came with the '03 model introduction.
I personally like the 3rd Gen wheel upgrade like BigPapa did, here's some pics of mine
