I was looking to replace the skins as some are damaged. The dealer said they were on back order. To buy them separately was criminally expensive but the entire set was not bad but not available.

My right sides got crushed when a Mustang ran into me, 3 months ago. I've been waiting that long for replacements! They're just chrome-plated plastic, it's real easy to ruin them prying them off to change tires.

ebay has a good selection. Problem is, I don't think ANY of the aftermarkets out there look as good as the originals!

We have a local store named Hubcap Heaven.

When I "Lost" one of my center caps a couple of years ago, I found one there.

Center cap & wheel skin for the front = $25 for both

I creased my right front skin 5 years ago against a high curb and a deep sewer while parallel parking. The price quoted then was $68 for the center Ram-head hubcap and $170 for the skin ring. "Say, how much are those forged aluminum wheels?" $193 was the reply. Now to me, $193 is less than $238, plus I'd get the weight savings versus the steel wheels and wouldn't have to worry about the skins any more. I bought 6 aluminum wheels and haven't regretted it. Unfortunately, I don't habve the skins any more or I'd have offered them.

You can see the aluminums in my Reader's Rigs gallery.
