wheel to wheel nerf bars---help!

I am new to this site. However i have a 2003 3500 4x4 h/o 48re 373 gears srw short box. (first diesel) Iam looking for some help picking out the wheel to wheel step/nerf bars, (search is not working for me). I would like the why or why not of what is out there will you help please. Thanks

I purchased a set of Westin Platinum Series Nerf Bars for my 03. They had a hard time confirming which set to order, but Valley Truck out of Castro Valley, Ca found what I was looking for. If you want to call them, their # is 510-889-8103. I am sure if you do an Internet search for "Westin Nerf Bars" you will find many places that sell them though. I think you will need to call them though to make sure you get the right style that you are looking for. I paid too much at Valley Truck, but they installed them and other items for free so I guess I made up for it.



I have a dually so I wanted a set that has three steps, and it stops right at the start of the dually fender. I can try to post a picture tomorrow if you like.

You might want to check out the WAAG wheel to wheel bars with dually kickouts. I've had them on my 01 3500 for almost three years and more than 40k miles and they've survived severe winter road conditions for the past two years and still look pretty good!. One other thing, if you intend to haul a slide-in truck camper and you have preferences for a particular tie-down system, make sure that the wheel to wheel step bars you get are fully compatible, as some frame mounting systems use the same fixing locations as the Nerfbars and 2 into 1 won't go!

I've got the Go Rhino bars and they're great. Sumatra 6000 series, I believe. (Have to double check, it's been a while)



Took about an hour to install in the driveway working slowly, being very careful and reading directions a couple times.

Automotive Accessories Connection (http://www.accessconnect.com) has the best prices I've seen for Westin's. My Platinum series chrome bars for my '03 quadcab arrived at my door for $365.
